The Secretary of State for Health, Alan Milburn told Sir David that people who send hoax letters claiming to contain anthrax are committing serious crimes and will face up to seven years in prison.

The Chief Executive of British Airways, Rod Eddington, told Sir David that he wants to see more mergers between European Airlines.

Imran Khan spoke to Sir David live from Islamabad, and said that the vast majority of ordinary Pakistanis are sympathetic to the Taliban.

One of Britain's leading bacteriologists, Professor Hugh Pennington, told Sir David that anthrax is a very effective psychological weapon - creating fear, terror, mayhem and panic.

The Palestinian Chief Negociator, Saeb Erekat, told Breakfast with Frost that he is in despair about the peace process and urged the Israeli Government back to the negotiating table.
