Sue has been working on Breakfast since 1996.
She joined as a reporter and was quickly promoted to presenting on screen.
In addition to her early morning responsibilities, Sue is a presenter on BBC News 24.
She has also been a regular contributor to Football Focus and Grandstand - and she was the first female voice on Match of the Day.
Sue also appeared on The Weakest Link in the summer of 2003.
Early life
Sue began her career on a local newspaper in Hertfordshire, before moving to the Daily Telegraph, where she worked as a football writer.
She has also presented and reported for Sky Television.
Away from the BBC she is a keen sports fan and ran the marathon for Help The Hospices in 2005.
She has two children Holly and Flynn.
