It's thirteen years since a group of female singers spiced up the UK charts and became the most successful girl band of all time. The Spice Girls was just the beginning for Melanie C who has gone on to carve a successful solo career with a string of number one hits, albums and concert tours.
Now she's playing eight shows a week in the West End musical 'Blood Brothers' and follows in the footsteps of Barbara Dickson, Kiki Dee, Carole King and Helen Reddy in taking on the iconic role of Mrs Johnstone, the mother of twins who gives one up as a baby.
