Before the Beatles to the early days of rock and roll, Cliff Richard and The Shadows dominated the charts with no less than 19 No 1 hits between them. They even starred in two films, Summer Holiday and The Young Ones.
In a surprise appearance at the Royal Variety Show last year The Shadows announced that they'd play with Sir Cliff on a world tour to celebrate their 50th anniversary. The tour kicked off last week and Jon Kay from Breeakfast caught up with them on the road.
