It's considered one of the best loved musicals of all time and during it's recent West End run The Sound of Music was enjoyed by over 2 million theatre goers.
The leading role of Maria was played by Connie Fisher who won the part on the television show, 'How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?'. But for those of you who missed her in the West End, Connie is now reprising her role in a national tour later this month. She'll star alongside actor Michael Praed as Captain Von Trapp.
The tour opens in Wales at the Millennium Centre in Cardiff on the 26th July.
