What does this mean? See question two
It's one of the best-selling books in the UK - and it's required bed-time reading for anyone who holds a Provisional Licence and a set of L-plates.

The Highway Code is 75 years old on Friday, April 14.

To mark its three quarters of a century, we put together an instant quiz, to test your knowledge of the Highway Code:

If you break the Highway Code, are you automatically breaking the law?
A: Yes and you'll be prosecuted if you're caught out
B: No: although many of the rules are legal obligations, some ar not
C: No - it's only for learner drivers
