We debated proposals to outlaw encouragement for terrorists
|
After the wave of terrorist attacks on London, the government's promising new anti-terror laws this Autumn.
One of the measures it's looking at would ban people from posting extremist views on the internet - or distributing leaflets praising terrorist attacks, such as those on July 7 or September 11.
But the proposals - which would outlaw indirect incitement to terrorism - have already provoked mixed feelings among the Muslim community.
Breakfast's Graham Satchell has been exploring exactly what the law is aiming to stop, and how it would all work.
We debated the issues, with Khalid Mahmood, Labour MP for Birmingham Perry Barr and Humera Khan, co founder of Al Nisa, a National Muslim women's organisation.
We asked what you think.
