What should state High Schools teach? It's a live debate in the USA
|
Whether we should believe in Adam and Eve, or Darwin and Evolution, is rarely an issue in school science lessons here in Britain.
But in America it's an argument heading for the US Supreme Court.
A High School in rural Pennsylvania has become the first in the country to promote an alternative to evolution, in its biology lessons.
This morning, Breakfast found out more about the debate in the USA, from our correspondent, Ian Pannell.
And, we debated whether creationism deserves to be taught with other theories here in Britain. We talked to journalist Francis Beckett and Dr David Tyler of the Biblical Creation Society
