Jam tomorrow - and jam today
Craig Flatman, 15, live in the Breakfast studio
Craig, 15, lives on jam butties, milk and breakfast cereal
Many children are faddy eaters, but their parents hope they'll grow out of it.

Not so 15 year old Craig Flatman from Suffolk.

Craig lives off a diet of jam sandwiches, milk and - according to family and friends - the odd piece of chocolate cake.

Despite the lack of fruit and vegetables, he's 6'1 tall and weighs around 11 stone.

  • This morning Breakfast talked live to Craig and his dad, to find out whether his diet really is as unhealthy as it sounds.

We also brought in an expert, dietician Ursula Arens, to advise on what to do with faddy eaters.

Despite his strange diet, Craig is not overweight. But obesity is a growing problem among children as well as adults.

On average, one in six of Craig's classmates 15-year-olds will be obese.

The problem has been blamed on children's fast food diets - and a lack of regular exercise at school and at home.

Craig has had a problem with eating normal food since choking on solids as a baby.

He has had hospital treatment including a six month stint at Great Ormond Street in London, but his mum abandoned the treatment because he felt sick whenever he ate most normal food.
