BBC Breakfast has been judged the best morning and daytime programme by insiders in the TV and radio industry.
Presenters Dermot Murnaghan and Natasha Kaplinsky collected the award on behalf of the Breakfast team, at the annual Television and Radio Industries Club ceremony yesterday.
BBC Breakfast, which runs every morning on BBC One and BBC News 24, beat GMTV and the Kilroy Show for the award.
At the same ceremony, Jonathan Ross was named TV personality of the year - and Christopher Parker, who plays Spencer Moon in EastEnders, was judged Best New TV talent.
Dermot Murnaghan and Natasha Kaplinsky both joined BBC Breakfast in the Autumn of 2002, completing a line-up of presenters which includes Moira Stuart, Sian Williams, Rob Bonnet and Bill Turnbull.
Breakfast's Editor Richard Porter said:
"Today's award is fantastic news. It's a recognition of everything the team have worked so hard to achieve."
