Breakfast's BBC Crime day took a couple of months to set up, we needed permission from the police and the surveillance centre. We had three vans on locations, three cameramen, and 20 other technicians...

Did you watch Breakfast on the BBC's Cracking Crime Day? A large part of the programme was presented by Sophie Raworth live in Manchester's sophisticated CCTV surveillance centre.

The Breakfast webteam have compiled the following film which records what was needed to execute such a huge challenge. Just to put it into context, a normal Breakfast OB uses only 2 technicians.
