New to the Breakfast website: e-mail of the week
One of the liveliest debates this week was over Prince Charles' vocal support for the countryside marchers. Most of you supported his right to speak out, but Elizabeth Lewis-Cracknell disagreed.

If you want to read the full debate on Prince Charles' letters

We have a democracy in this country. We elect political parties who place a manifesto before the public.

He should take a leaf out of his mother's book and keep his mouth shut on political issues

The Labour Party won an election twice and they promised to carry out the wishes of Parliament who have on several occasions voted overwhelmingly to ban the hunting of our wildlife with hounds.

Charles is one of a dying remnant of a life that the modern civilised world has chosen to reject.

This bloodthirsty behaviour - hounding a creature (whose escape routes have been blocked up) and then watching whilst the pack of slavering dogs rips it apart - makes one actually question this man's ability to take on the role of King.

The two images do not sit happily on the same pair of shoulders. He should take a leaf out of his mother's book and keep his mouth shut on political issues.

Elizabeth Lewis-Cracknell, Suffolk
