Back to School with Gaby
Samantha Hawkins, one of the new pupils at Sandringham School
Eleven year old Samantha worries about getting lost
For the next few weeks on Breakfast, Gaby Roslin is going out and about, to find out more about the issues which affect you.

Starting on Monday, we're taking a special look at schools.

Each September, it seems that half the nation digs out its pencil cases, buffs up its sensbile shoes and heads back to school for the Autumn term.

Secretly, many children are as relieved as their parents when the long summer holiday is over.

But, for an unlucky few, the beginning of the Autumn term is more traumatic.

Some have failed to get into the school they'd set their heart on. Many are secretly anxious about how they'll get on. Will they make friends..will they be bullied..will they ever be able to find their way around?

From Monday morning, Gaby will be reporting live from Sandringham School in St Albans, Hertfordshire.

We'll be talking to staff and students to find out what new starters can expect when they arrive in a big comprehensive.

And, we'll be finding out how to cope with bullying.

All this and much more on Breakfast, next week.

You can begin by watching the preparations of one new Sandringham pupil, Samantha Hawkins.
