The creators and cast of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

Douglas Adams, the creator of the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, has died of a heart attack in Santa Barbara California, at the age of 49.

For Broadcasting House, BBC News Online's science editor, our old friend Dr David Whitehouse, wrote a tribute to Douglas Adams.
