PMQs - Your opinions

Graphic of envelopes and e-mail
Tell us what you think

Every Wednesday at midday MPs question the prime minister over his government's performance and policies, and now you can add your voice to the debate.

PMQs is broadcast live by BBC Parliament on television and over the broadband service, where you can also watch the debate afterwards, and we'd like to hear your views.

It's another tough week for the prime minister with plenty of legislation being put to the vote. Mr Blair missed Monday's crucial ID cards vote and the Cabinet were split on Tuesday on how far the smoking ban should go.

Is Tony Blair giving straight answers to this week's topics? How is William Hague performing in place of David Cameron? Do you think Menzies Campbell's performance will win him the Lib Dem leadership race? What would you be asking Mr Blair this week?

This PMQs showed what a bunch of political pygmies the Tories currently have to offer. Seeing Hague again reinforced my feelings about him when he was opposition leader - a lightweight who plays for laughs. Cameron unfortunately is even more ineffective. Blair wipes the floor with both of them.
John, Maidstone

Watching William Hague today makes me think that he should be leading the Conservative party. He's razor sharp and seems to have grown since he last faced Blair. His wit is scathing and he can beat Blair at his own game.
Martin Goddard, Plymouth

When have we ever heard straight answers from either side of the despatch box? Just enjoy it for what it is - I love it! I would like to ask Tony, if Dennis Skinner could take his place at the box for PM's questions....just once.
Simon Lang, Brussels, Belgium

Cameron has much to learn - and much to fear - from William Hague

If David Cameron was watching today he must be quite uncomfortable. William Hague was vastly superior - more entertaining and far more clinical in putting the PM on the spot. Cameron has much to learn - and much to fear - from William Hague.
Andrew Crick, Oxfordshire

We still don't have a clear answer from Blair about whether there will be referendums about abolishing our counties. Blair gave people in his own county a vote in 2004 - when will the rest of England have their say about this?
William Norton, Redditch, Worcs

Tony Blair once again showed why he can win elections and William Hague can't. He might not be as funny as Hague, but he's a politician of far greater stature.
Matt Forde, Nottingham

Did anyone else notice that Mr Blair got the name of the Pc shot in Nottingham wrong? If the sending of his best wishes to the unfortunate victim of this shooting is to be taken seriously, can he not get her name right??
Thomas Merry, Nottingham

Hague performed much better than Cameron ever has - able to think on his feet rather than reading from a script. Here's hoping that Hague will one day regain his rightful place as Tory leader.
Liam Roberts, Ballater, Scotland

Tony Blair lies whenever his mouth moves. I personally always turn the television over whenever he appears and will not listen to a word he says.
Si, Lincoln

Seems to me Tony didn't give a decent answer to any of the questions. When will he stop quoting statistics from the past and answer a question directly and fully instead?
Kathy, Watford
