AGE OF TERROR
Peter Taylor's new series is on BBC Two on Tuesdays at 9pm
|
He has made three ground-breaking series about al-Qaeda in the last few years.
He was a reporter on Bloody Sunday in 1972 and since then has made over 70 documentaries and written seven books on terror.
His new series, Age of Terror, is a remarkable accumulation of his experience and an epic chronicle of modern terrorism.
Each of the four programmes in the series investigates a notorious terrorist attack from the last three decades and explores their repercussions for today.
The Age of Terror is a story in which terror grows but also undergoes evolution: from revolutionary terror to sacred terror.
It features insurrection, bloody national liberation struggles, the tangled web of state involvement in terror and the emergence of Jihad - an extraordinary death sentence on the Western world.
Thank you for all your questions and comments.
Peter Taylor's answers to a selection of the questions you asked will be published on the Age of Terror website on 7 May, 2008.
