Put your questions to Peter Taylor

Award-winning BBC journalist Peter Taylor has been reporting on global terrorism for over 35 years.

From the conflicts in Northern Ireland, Spain, the Middle East and Africa, to more recent events involving al-Qaeda and Islamist extremists in the UK and around the world.

Peter Taylor's new series is on BBC Two on Tuesdays at 9pm

He has made three ground-breaking series about al-Qaeda in the last few years.

He was a reporter on Bloody Sunday in 1972 and since then has made over 70 documentaries and written seven books on terror.

His new series, Age of Terror, is a remarkable accumulation of his experience and an epic chronicle of modern terrorism.

Each of the four programmes in the series investigates a notorious terrorist attack from the last three decades and explores their repercussions for today.

The Age of Terror is a story in which terror grows but also undergoes evolution: from revolutionary terror to sacred terror.

It features insurrection, bloody national liberation struggles, the tangled web of state involvement in terror and the emergence of Jihad - an extraordinary death sentence on the Western world.

Thank you for all your questions and comments.

Peter Taylor's answers to a selection of the questions you asked will be published on the Age of Terror website on 7 May, 2008.
