John Prescott on Mandelson protest

In 2001 the then-Deputy Prime Minister, John Prescott, had an egg thrown at him. He retaliated with a punch.

Speaking on his blog, Mr Prescott gave his reaction to the protest in which Lord Mandelson had green custard thrown at him as he arrived at a low-carbon summit.
