Gaza tunnellers cut through Egyptian barrier


Tunnellers in Gaza have already cut through a supposedly bombproof barrier built by Egypt to stop smuggling into the Palestinian territory, the BBC has learned.

Tunnels between Gaza and Egypt have been thriving since Israel and Egypt tightened their economic blockade of the territory to put pressure on Hamas.
