Saddam shadow hangs over Iraq vote

Preparations for Iraq's parliamentary election have been throw into turmoil after hundreds of candidates were banned because of alleged links to the now outlawed Baath Party.

Former President Saddam Hussein headed the party, using it to keep an iron grip on Iraq before his fall from power.

Gabriel Gatehouse reports from Baghdad.
