UN considers further sanctions on Iran


Western diplomats are circulating proposals for further UN sanctions to be imposed over the Iran's nuclear programme.

It's the initial stage of trying to agree a fourth round of sanctions to punish it for failing to comply with Security Council demands to stop enriching uranium.

But Iran's recent offer to accept a compromise proposal over its nuclear fuel has made the diplomacy more complicated.
