Voters in Lebanon give their reaction to the new unity government.
They are trying to get more neutral people who will represent Lebanon better
I think this is better than the last attempt.
It's still only yesterday and I haven't heard too much about it, but I feel optimistic because things are changing.
They are trying to get more neutral people in government who will represent Lebanon better.
A national unity government only works when politicians are working towards the same goal and so far this hasn't happened.
We cannot blame just Hezbollah for the long tortuous road to forming a government. The March 14 group has also failed to compromise.
Hezbollah is a de-stabilizing influence on the country. I don't think they will ever give up their armed struggle against Israel.
I fear there is growing tension between different communities in the country.
Even in university there is division. Sunnis like me don't mix with Shias. We only talk to each other during seminars. It is difficult to make friends with people in the Shia community - and it would be even harder for people to inter-marry.
Daily life is strange in Lebanon. On one level things are "normal" - we try to carry on with life. We study and work for a better life, go out and have fun. But at the same time we fear we will be sucked back into conflict.
Every time it looks like the country is developing again, we get sucked back into war or internal conflict.
Many educated people take the opportunity to leave the country and only return for holidays. The poorer people do not have this option and there is growing gap between the two.
