Yemen jet crashes in Indian Ocean

A child has been rescued from the sea after a Yemeni Airbus A310 airliner crashed off the east African Comoros archipelago.

Yemenia Airlines say a number of bodies have also been recovered.

The plane, carrying 153 people, is believed to have come down 30 minutes short of its destination of the Comoran capital, Moroni. It had taken off from the Yemeni capital San'a.

Will Ross reports.
