Bloodshed at huge rally in Tehran

A man is reported to have been killed in Iran as massive crowds took to the streets to protest against President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's re-election.

Hundreds of thousands rallied to support candidate Mir Hossein Mousavi, but a group of them was fired on from a militia base they had surrounded.

Earlier, the crowd was addressed by Mr Mousavi, who believes the vote was fixed in favour of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. A claim he denies.

Jon Leyne reports from Tehran.
