Rubbish hunt for $1m mattress

An Israeli woman has set off a frantic search through rubbish dumps after accidentally throwing away an old mattress containing her elderly mother's life savings.

The woman bought her mother a new mattress as a surprise present and threw out the old one, not realising the vast sum hidden inside.
