Baghdad's new motor-racing tournament

Until recently the fastest thing you were likely to see on the streets of Baghdad would have been government corteges speeding towards the airport - or pedestrians scattering from the path of a US military convoy.

But now a new motor-racing time trial is being held in Baghdad on the first Friday of every month.

The BBC's cameras captured the atmosphere of the first tournament.
