Iraq golden shrine being rebuilt


The bombing of one of Shia Islam's holiest sites in 2006 pushed Iraq close to civil war.

Shia militias and death squads reacted violently to the Sunni attack on the Golden Dome of Samarra.

Three years on, the city has been reclaimed from insurgents and work on rebuilding the dome is well advanced, as Jonny Dymond discovered.
