Rockets fired from Lebanon hit Israel

Rockets fired from Lebanon into northern Israel for the first time since the offensive in Gaza began caused damage in and around the Israeli town of Nahariya.

Police said several rockets had fallen and five Israelis were slightly wounded.

The Lebanese government says it is trying to establish whether Hezbollah or a Palestinian faction was responsible.

The Israelis fired back into Lebanon.
