Shopping for 'basic needs' in Gaza market

For three hours, Israel allowed border crossings to open to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza.

News agencies reported that Gaza residents had rushed out into the streets during the lull to stock up on food and visit relatives in hospital.

International journalists have not been allowed to travel into Gaza, but the BBC's Rushdi Abu Alouf is based there and spoke to shopper, Bssam Nasir about how he and his family are coping after days of intense fighting.
