Jordanian injures six in shooting

Aftermath of Jordan shooting
Jordanian officials say the attack was not related to terrorism

A gunman has shot and injured six people in the Jordanian capital, Amman, before shooting himself in the head.

He was reported to be in a critical condition in hospital.

The attack took place late at night near Amman's Roman amphitheatre, where a musical concert was being held. Most of the victims suffered minor injuries.

A Jordanian government minister described the attack as criminal and said it did not appear to be related to terrorism.
