Militants die in Israel strikes

Four members of the Palestinian militant movement, Hamas, have been killed in Israeli air strikes near Khan Younis in the southern Gaza strip.

The Israeli army said two militants were seen planting explosives near the Israeli border.

The other two were said to have been among a group wearing military-style clothing, in an area from which rockets had been fired towards Israel.

In all, six militants have been killed in Israeli strikes in 24 hours.
