'Six dead' in West Bank clashes
Elderly Palestinian shouts at Israeli troops in Jenin
Israeli troops often seek suspected militants in the West Bank
At least six Palestinians have been killed during clashes with Israeli troops in the West Bank, Palestinian officials say.

Five died in an operation in the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin. At least one of them was a suspected militant.

Israeli troops later bulldozed the house where fighting had taken place, according to witnesses.

In a separate incident, a Palestinian security guard was killed near the intelligence headquarters in Jenin.

Israeli military officials confirmed the clashes but not the number of those killed.

They said the troops had been fired on and returned fire.

Israeli troops frequently launch raids in the West Bank against suspected militants.
