Israeli warplanes destroyed the Hezbollah outpost

Israeli warplanes have attacked an outpost used by Hezbollah militants in southern Lebanon.
The air strike came in apparent retaliation for a cross-border attack by Hezbollah on an army base in northern Israel earlier in the day.
The Israeli military said its aircraft targeted and destroyed the outpost in the Bent Jbail region, near the Israeli border.
The military said it was used by Hezbollah to fire missiles into Israel.
Lebanese police said the planes carried out two successive sweeps on the position, firing a total of four air-to-ground missiles.
It is not known whether there have been any casualties.
