Israeli helicopters have fired at least six missiles in a series of attacks on Gaza City, Palestinian officials say.
Reports say there were several targets, including at least one empty metal workshop. There has been no confirmation from the Israeli army.
Israel has launched frequent missile attacks against Palestinian targets in the West Bank and Gaza.
It says such workshops are used by militant groups to manufacture weapons and ammunition for attacks on Israel.
The attacks occurred after 2300 local time (2000 GMT) in the Zeitoun area of the city.
They were launched hours after a missile was fired from Gaza on the southern Israeli town of Sderot.
The missile caused slight damage but no casualties.
