More than 20 reported drowned in Egypt

Reports from Egypt say at least twenty eight people have drowned in the waters of the Nile in two separate accidents north of Cairo.

The police said twenty were missing after a truck plunged in the Nile near the district of Imbaba.

The police said the other eight drowned earlier when a ferry boat sank while crossing the Nile from the same district.
