Egypt signs up PR company to improve image

The Egyptian authorities have engaged the services of a British public relations company to improve the country's international image after more than 60 tourists were killed last month in an attack by a radical Islamic group.Jeffrey Lyes of Lowe Good Relations said the main task would be to ensure that tourists know they can travel safely in Egypt.

Correspondents say the Luxor massacre prompted mass cancellations of tours, which almost decimated the country's revenues from tourism.
