WAS WAR JUSTIFIED?

Bianca Jagger
Human rights campaigner Bianca Jagger says war was not justifed in Iraq because the alternatives had not been exhausted.

Having lobbied governments for years over Iraq's human rights abuses, Ann Clwyd is finally heartened that the US and UK have removed Saddam Hussein's regime.

Wyn Bowen is a lecturer at Kings' College, London, and a former UN weapons inspector in Iraq. He believes Saddam's lack of cooperation made avoiding war very difficult.

REPORTING THE WAR

Former BBC correspondent Martin Bell has reported from frontlines in Bosnia, the Middle East and Vietnam. He says some reports from Iraq were "unwatchable".
