Arab dailies angry at Israel

Arabic newspapers have lashed Israel as it celebrates its 55th anniversary of independence, as well as Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak for sending congratulations. They also continue to criticise the United States' actions in Iraq.

Al-Jumhuriyah - Egypt

It was announced last week that US forces would soon be withdrawn from Saudi Arabia. Since the aim of al-Qaeda, led by Osama Bin Laden, was to expel US forces in areas neighbouring the holy sites, I am waiting to read something in the press that will indicate that Bin Laden has now won his war against the US.
