In pictures: Exercises on Iraq's borders
The United States army has begun a big military exercise in Kuwait, close to the border with Iraq.
As the region remains apprehensive of a possible military attack, in Iraq itself, 10 teams of United Nations weapons inspectors resumed work on Saturday.
The US exercises are the biggest since the Gulf War
Thousands of troops are taking part
In Cairo, protesters opposed Qatar's support for the US
But people as far away as South Korea also opposed a possible Iraq attack
In Iraq, inspectors visited 10 sites on Saturday
Workers are getting used to receiving them
So far, Iraqis have been co-operating with the inspections
