A suspected suicide bomber has blown up a bus near Megiddo, close to Israel's border with the West Bank, killing himself and at least 16 others.

Most of the people on the rush-hour bus were Israeli soldiers

Islamic Jihad said it carried out the attack to coincide with the 35th anniversary of the Six Day War
