In pictures: Iranians march against US
Tens of thousands of Iranians have taken to the streets in Tehran, protesting against the United States, Israel and their allies, on the 23rd anniversary of the Iranian revolution.
President Khatami addressed the tens of thousands who attended the rally in Tehran's Azadi Square
He told them that this year's rally was important because of the US accusations against Iran
The gathering took place under the massive portraits of Iranian supreme leaders past and present
US, British and Israeli flags were also set ablaze
Protesters burned effigies of US President Bush, Israel's Ariel Sharon and Uncle Sam
Men, women and children marched and chanted anti-US and Israel slogans
One woman showed off her effigies of Uncle Sam and the devil, dressed as his bride
