In pictures: Israeli incursion in Gaza
Israeli tanks have occupied the Palestinian town of Beit Hanoun in the north of the Gaza Strip, sparking violent clashes.
Overnight, the Israeli troops entered the centre of Beit Hanoun, six kilometres into the Palestinian territory, and imposed a curfew on part of the town.
