Bomb blast hits Jerusalem shopping street
Breaking News
A bomb explosion in the heart of Jerusalem has killed and wounded several people, an Israeli police spokesman said, according to Reuters news agency.

There was shattered glass all over the pavement in the busy Jaffa Street shopping district.

Dozens of ambulances, sirens blaring, rushed to the scene.

The explosion happened in at a pizza restaurant.

A police spokesman said it was not clear if the blast was caused by a suicide bomber or a bomb planted on the side of the street.

Palestinian suicide bombers have killed dozens of Israelis since an uprising against Israeli occupation erupted last September after peace talks became deadlocked.
