Stoned to death for porno movie

An Iranian newspaper reports that a woman has been stoned to death in prison, as a punishment for producing and acting in pornographic films.

The newspaper, Entekhab, said the un-named woman was buried up to her armpits and then stoned by court officers at Evin Prison in the capital, Tehran.

The woman had denied the charges against her.

Entekhab said Iranian investigators managed to trace the woman after they noticed the serial number of an electricity meter that was in the background of a scene in one of her films.
