We start this week's gallery of readers' pictures on the theme of sparkle with a picture by Jake Wild, who photographed The Verve playing at Manchester Central.
Andrea: "I like the way the sun lights up the cloud and makes the snow in the foreground sparkle."
Adam Lewis: "With the theme of sparkle, it had to be a 'sparkler'. After five attempts I figured out what camera settings to use and after 15 attempts I had mastered the art of writing Sparkle backwards."
