Old
Each week we publish a gallery of readers' pictures on a set theme. This week we asked for your photographs on the subject of old. Jim Young: "An old flag from the New World. Taken in Boston USA."
Peter Ford: "This old tractor may have had its day, but still has a little something to give in the way of a nice picture."
Joseph Schneid: "The digital age makes the contents of this image seem older. There are two Kodak cameras, a Retina IIa and a Signet 35, that belonged to my father. The unused film in metal cans was with his cameras when he died."
Chuck Beckley: "Lucy sits on her porch in southern Ohio playing with her dogs and waiting for the county fair to come."
Sophie Graves: "I came across these old trolley buses in the middle of the Canadian countryside. I was surprised to see the doors were all made out of wood."
Paul Black: "An old abandoned fishing boat on the coast at Dungeness. With the setting sun giving it a warm feel, even the graffiti on the hull looks old, weathered like the rest of the paintwork by the wind, sun, and the sea salt."
Jim Young: "A farm cottage in Cwm Bach, Swansea, Wales."
Eric Warman: "High Wilhite, 87, from Owensboro, Kentuky, USA."
Michael Currin: "A radio made in the 1950s, seen on a farm in Franschhoek, South Africa."
Jacqueline Gargasson: "I just loved the different colours of the old paint and plaster peeling from this door and wall in the Dominican capital."
Adam Lewis: "I wanted to capture a historic aspect of London in an image that emphasised the age of the building."
Friedrich Mulke: "While touring through the Drakensberg in South Africa, I came across this old minibus taxi abandoned in a ditch next to the road."
