Kelburn Castle, Ayrshire

"I could, and did, spend days on end at Kelburn Castle and Country Park" said Ian Buglass from Todmorden, West Yorkshire, who submitted this colourful image.

Puffin on the Treshnish Isle

This "cheeky chap" was caught on camera by Donald Reid on Lunga in the Treshnish Isles, near Mull. He said: "The puffins gather in the water waiting for a chance to get to their nests underground."

Pipers from Dollar Academy

Fraser Greenlee, aged 12, took this picture of the Dollar Academy Pipe Band. They were competing in the Scottish Schools' Pipes and Drums Competition held at Strathallan School, Perthshire.

Tent at Sandwood Bay, Sutherland

"Probably the best campsite in the world," said Ruth Johnson from Perth. She wild camped at Sandwood Bay, Sutherland, in what she described as "perfect conditions".
