On 9 July, Question Time will be made by a team of student producers working alongside the normal programme production team. The students are the winners of the 2009 Schools Question Time Challenge.
On 7 May, the eight student producers met in Lochgelly in Fife to discuss what they would like to do in their special programme.
Student producer Afiola's interests include playing and watching football, politics and philosophy. He hopes to become a barrister or corporate lawyer, or possibly the head of FIFA (International Federation of Association Football).
Esther enjoys running, netball and playing the piano. Her ambitions include studying geography and working in international development.
Joe's interests include football, playing and listening to music, and reading. And he dreams of playing football for Aston Villa.
Lucy enjoys playing tennis, dancing, singing and music. She would like to live in Paris and be fluent in three languages.
Neha likes debating, reading, discovering new music, keeping up with the news and learning about history. Her ambitions include travel, meeting many different people and working in international economic and political development.
Rosie's interests include ballet, playing flute and saxophone, and politics. Her ambitions include working in law and travelling.
Sean loves all sports. His ambitions include becoming a doctor and having a villa on Lake Garda.
Tom's interests include debating, hockey and table tennis. His ambition is to study philosophy at Cambridge.
Having formulated a plan for their programme, the students put their ideas forward in a presentation to the Question Time production team. The special Schools Question Time programme will be broadcast on Thursday, 9 July 2009, at 2235 BST on BBC One.
