The British Museum has unveiled plans for new buildings as part of a £135m development project. There will be more space for exhibitions in five linked pavilions with seven floors at the central London site.

A school for 1,800 pupils is set to be built in the Olympic Village in Stratford. Chobham Academy will specialise in English and performing arts when it opens after the Games in 2013.
