Thousands of people have taken to the streets of London ahead of the G20 summit.
The marchers are calling on the economic summit to address climate change, poverty and job losses amid the global economic recession.
Police have estimated the crowd at about 35,000 but the atmosphere has been described as calm.
The march has included members of trade unions, charities and environmental groups. The Put People First march is one of many taking place across Europe ahead of the summit.
The protesters described the march having a "carnival-like atmosphere" with brass bands, whistles and music.
Members of the charity Young World Vision have joined activists from across Europe who travelled to London to take part.
