Buachaille Etive Mhor, Glencoe

Graham Harris took this picture of Buachaille Etive Mor in Glencoe as he was touring the Highlands and lowlands of Scotland.

Fox cub

"This is the first orphaned fox cub to be brought to Hessilhead Wildlife Rescue Centre this year," said Gay Christie, who sent in this shot. "It is finding life very tiring."

Potree Lifeboat

This photograph of the Portree lifeboat at Portree harbour was taken by John Dawson, from Falkirk, during a working trip to Skye.

Flower

Jill Harringan Lawrence entitled this shot "Spring awakening." It was taken in Potterton, Aberdeenshire.

Dolphins and boat

Malcom McNiven spotted a pod of dolphins in Tarbert harbour, Loch Fyne. He said they spent the day swimming around the entrance to the harbour and followed every boat which came in.

Aonach Eagach ridge

Doug Spencer from Polmont captured this view of Glencoe from the Aonach Eagach ridge on "a superb" winter's day.

Goat

Beth Holt from Tulsa, Oklahoma, took this picture during a visit to Scone Palace. She said: "I found out if you held the bag of food over your head the goats would look you in the eye and you could get a really great shot."

View of Edinburgh

Douglas Campbell took this shot of a sunset view to Edinburgh from Longniddry Bents after a family day at the beach. He said you can see a "hardy" kite surfer in the foreground.

Loch of Skene

The Loch of Skene was captured by James Dean from Livingstone. He said: "The light sky to the south and darker sky to the north created an interesting atmosphere."

Men in boat

Grant Stewart said this shot was taken during a stag weekend at the River Tay, near Grandtully. He said: "These are the legs of the stag, Simon Gough, who sacrificed himself so the boat wouldn't tip over. Cheers mate."

Haymarket Station

This shot of Haymarket station was taken by Charlie Bull with a Leica Dlux 3. He said: "The fading background daylight fuses with the glow from the neon station lights to form a very dramatic scene."

Barra beach
