A series of rare film posters will go under the hammer at Christie's, in London, on Wednesday.
The biannual sale features 250 lots of original cinema posters ranging from the early years of cinema to the 1990s, with estimates from £300 to £6,000.
The sale includes a rare US one-sheet for the 1950 Hollywood classic Sunset Boulevard, starring Gloria Swanson, which is expected to fetch £4,000-6,000.
One of the earliest posters in the sale dates from 1928, presenting Carl Theodor Dreyer's silent film La Passion de Jeanne D'Arc (£4,000 - £6,000), tracing the final hours of the life of Joan of Arc.
A rare Italian poster for one of Audrey Hepburn's most lavish films, Sabrina (£3,000-5,000), features the work of artist Ercole Brini.
The poster for 1965's Carry On Spying features artwork by Tom William Chantrell, and is expected to fetch £500-700 when it goes under the hammer.
More recent film posters at the sale include an Australian one-sheet for the 1996 cult classic Trainspotting (£300-£600), starring Ewan McGregor
